What is Professor Orin?
Professor Orin is a training app for chess, poker, and blackjack. You play first, understand why each decision worked or failed, then practice what matters.
Do I need to already know how to play?
No. Professor Orin is designed to work from beginner level upward. You can learn the basics, play immediately, and improve as you go.
Is this just a collection of games?
No. Orin explains why decisions worked or failed, tracks patterns in your play, and points you toward what needs work.
What can I do for free?
Play Chess, Poker, and Blackjack, follow guided lessons, use unlimited recommended Chess practice, and get essential coaching and progress evidence. No account is required.
Is the poker training GTO?
Not currently. Professor Orin provides structured beginner and intermediate decision coaching, hand review, and street-level feedback. It is not a solver or exact GTO engine.
Does the blackjack trainer teach card counting?
Yes. Professor Orin includes basic strategy practice and Hi-Lo count training, along with decision feedback and progress tracking.
Can I gamble real money in the app?
No. Poker and blackjack are practice-only, so you can learn before your money is on the table. Virtual credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, and are not real-money wagers.
What do I get with Professor Orin+?

Does Professor Orin require an account?
No account is required to use the app.
What data does Professor Orin collect?
Professor Orin uses a random installation identifier for limited product analytics. It is not connected to your name or an account and is not used for advertising or cross-company tracking. Detailed gameplay histories stay on your device. To disable analytics, open Profile and turn off Share product analytics. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does it work offline?
Core gameplay and training are designed to work locally on your iPhone. Some App Store purchase or account-related functions may require a connection.
Is Professor Orin available on Android?
Not currently. Professor Orin is built for iPhone.
